peugeot 106 gti

Selling my 106 gti. Bought this car from colin at pug performance in july 2016, the car had been sat since being imported from jersey, was suffering from lacquer peel on the paint and still on its jersey plates. The final pic shows how the car arrived when delivered by colin.I then briefly sold the car to a mate who had it painted, uk registered and mot’d. unfortunately while sorting this out he had to send the import certificate and other docs to the dvla for it to be registered, they have since been lost before i had the car back so i now only have the uk registered logbook issued by the dvla but not the import certificate that i had received with the car when originally purchased. it has been mot’d each year since registered although will need a fresh mot in a few weeks and can be seen on the dvla website mot history checker. It then sat mostly in storage before i bought it back last year with the intention of keeping it as a weekend toy however ive only driven a couple hundred miles in that time as theres more bits i wanted to do to it and would rather let it go (for the right money) than have it sat around gathering dust. completely original 2000 106 gti phase 263,000 miles (not suprising given jersey is such a small place)currently sits on 206 gti nimrod alloys with 4 good tyreshalf leather interior (drivers seat base is ripped)also have 5x original 106 gti wheels that can go with the car.Central locking does not work but can be locked/unlocked using the keyRear badge is missing from the bootlid.engine and box are perfect pulls really well no issues at all.It will need a timing belt kit and brake refresh in my opinion, i wouldn’t use the car much without doing this as its likely it still has the original timing belt fitted but each to their own, looks like theres probably an oil weep from one of the rocker cover gaskets to. all in all a tidy original low mileage gti that due to being sat for a good while now would definitely benefit from refreshing certain bits (service, belts, fluids etc) would be a great little car then for road or a track toy that will only gain value if kept well as they arent all that easy to find now. cash or bank transfer on collection only. would be best to trailer away, does drive fine but on your head if thats what you choose to do.Im happy to run it up and down the road for you but it cant go far as sorned..located in birmingham any questions you can text me on 07852 463 367. If you have less than 10 feedback your bid will be removed On 13-Jan-20 at 10:37:59 GMT, seller added the following information: Couple things i forgot to mention.. Passenger side electric wing mirror does not workAlso the side skirts and wheel arches were not painted and are still in original paint so have some age related marks, nothing bad just not as fresh as the rest thats all.On 15-Jan-20 at 18:14:59 GMT, seller added the following information: Been asked a few times now about any rust issues, the car is solid. the only areas with any rust underneath is just surface rust, no holes and still solid. i have a few pics now i can send via whatsapp i can be contacted on the number above.
